Short Bio : Anna Ong believes that the shortest distance between two people is a story. She is an ex-banker turned storyteller. Anna is the founder of WYSH (What's Your Story, Huh?), a communications training company that uses Applied Theatre, Storytelling, and Improvisation techniques. She trains leaders and teams to be mentally agile and communicate authentically with humour and empathy. She promotes the importance of fun, creativity and collaboration in the workplace. She's the host and creator of What's Your Story Slam, a curated storytelling competition in Singapore where people share their tales onstage. The show promotes the power of personal narratives. She is a communications coach and speaker. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, a certificate in Social Impact Storytelling from Georgetown University and an associate-certified coach (ACC) accreditation from the ICF. She left a 15-year stint in banking (Singapore and the Philippines) in 2016 to pursue her interest in the performing arts, such as Argentine Tango, Improvisation and Storytelling in North and South America. She moved back to Singapore in 2019 to bring stories, creativity and fun to the workplace.
