Short Bio : Saim founded CardsPal venture when he was with Standard Chartered Bank as part of the intrapreneur programme. The venture subsequently spun off from the bank, backed by the bank and incubated by the innovation arm, SC Ventures. He is currently the CEO and board member of CardsPal. Saim has over 17 years of experience in the financial services and consulting industry. He has been a business project manager and business analyst in various mega projects covering product, process, compliance, risk and regulatory domains prior to his intrapreneur and entrepreneurship. Saim is a pro bono mentor in Youth Business International programme supporting women entrepreneur in Africa and he is also a CFTE Expert/Mentor (The Centre for Finance Technology and Entrepreneurship). Saim strongly believe in passion that drives changes and growths. He is obsessed to build great product that fills the market gap to serve people. He is optimistic, ambitious, a dream builder and a dream chaser. He is passionate in sharing his ventures experience and topic of interest in various forum such as fintech entrepreneurs’ panel at INSEAD, Standard Chartered Fintech Festival Lab Crawl, AWS Summit Online ASEAN, NUS N-House Wicked Wednesday event, CFTE programme etc.
