Short Bio : Trained as a marine biologist, Uma worked at an environmental non profit for 12 years before working as a sustainability consultant and is currently a Senior Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic teaching environmental education. She has published resource books on the environment and research papers on ecosystem services and biodiversity. She has a strong interest in working with young people and supporting their growth as well as working towards mitigating our impact on the planet.
