Synopsis
We are at a pivotal moment in history, where technology is revolutionizing the way we live and work. Rather than fear the sweeping changes brought about by AI and automation, we view this as an opportunity for us to reimagine our roles in society and embrace a purposeful existence. But first, we urgently need to learn how to apply ourselves from within and harass our deep self-awareness to thrive and lead towards a better future. This is why we started Guishi to transform leaders through the Journey Within.
We'll showcase two of our methodologies, unlearning and reframing, during this fireside chat, allowing our audience to witness Journey Within in action!
About Guishi and their founders:
Guishi, directly translates to "return to teacher." Beyond the literal interpretation lies the essence of reconnecting with our inner wisdom and consciousness. Embedded in our DNA by our ancestors, collectively form our internal teachers.
What do we do?
We are a leadership transformation consultancy. We aim to guide leaders to Journey Within, moving from reactive to creative, and into conscious leadership, through am-powerment, deep awareness and inner-standing of Self.
How do we do it?
Through our tailored in-house programs and personalized coaching, we empower leaders to engage in the process of unlearning, relearning, and transformation. Our approach is both experimental and playful, fostering a unique experience that encourages a profound integration of diverse fields such as physics, cosmology, biology, neurology, geometry, and psychology. Additionally, our programs incorporate elements of shadow work, energy healing, and contemplative practices for a comprehensive and holistic transformation journey.

Barry is a conscious entrepreneur with a unique blend of experiences that make him one-of-a-kind. With a diverse background spanning multiple businesses in the food & beverage, fashion, and energy healing. Barry has been on a ground-up journey, gaining invaluable knowledge along the way. His creativity knows no bounds, as he excels in brand & culture, product design, service design, and customer experience design.
Barry’s passion for mentoring and coaching others is driven by his vision of a world that embraces heart-centered living and authentic experiences, celebrating the abundance and radiance within us all.
Ryion Pun
Chief Community Officer, Guishi
Ryion has two decades of corporate experience and years of mentoring under his belt. Before Guishi, Ryion spent 7 years at Amazon. He was the Finance Director at Amazon Web Services, leading a global team of more than 100 people, and later ventured out into the crypto world as their SVP, Finance. He understands what it's like to work in a high-stress environment with type A personalities and overachievers who thrive on challenges.
Ryion is not just a corporate powerhouse, his diverse interests span health & wellness, spiritual practice, and sustainable foods. He's also an angel investor and mentor, supporting visionary founders striving to make positive impacts in their communities. He holds an MBA from Cornell University.
Yen-Lu Chow

Yen-Lu’s career spans nearly 40 years in the tech, media, venture capital, and more recently social entrepreneurship and philanthropy. A former Apple Distinguished Technologist, he is a successful entrepreneur with multiple tech start-ups and an active angel investor, spending many years mentoring and advising entrepreneurs, young businesses and serving on government panels on innovation. He served as a director of Business Angel Network SEA, executive mentor and adjunct professor to NUS Enterprise, mentor to INSEAD, numerous panels on entrepreneurship and innovation internationally, including IDA / SPRING, A*STAR, NRF, GMIC, NUS StartUp@Singapore, NUS Social Venture Competition, NTU Idea Inc, Thailand National Business Plan Competition, CrowdSourcing Week, etc.
In a fast-paced world where the only constant is change, he believes there is an urgent need for each of us to draw on our strengths and creative potential as human beings, to connect with our higher self and our deeper purpose to contribute towards humanity in a positive and impactful way. He enjoys building ecosystems and mobilizing the community to create positive social change. As an early pioneer in the application of AI, he also has a strong base in the tech space. With the launch of his family foundation and other social impact initiatives, Yen-Lu devotes his time serving both society and the nation in his various capacities.
He is on a life mission to help bring about a kinder, gentler, more inclusive, more just, and sustainable world.
