My Life Goals and Objectives : Helping to create moments that help people discover their special talents and feel like winners.

Short Bio : I left school after my 'A' Levels as I was about to marry and needed a job. I chose to join the financial services industry and spent 22 years in it. Initially, I worked as an underwriter for a motor insurer. But, after 2 years, I realised this wasn’t for me. Thankfully, I discovered the investment advisory services side of the business. This led me to joining a mutual fund manager and with their help I eventually became a Chartered Financial Planner. This allowed me to join a small boutique firm of independent financial advisers serving corporate and high net worth clients. In the late 80”s I was recruited to help a major UK bank set up a new investment advisory business. I stayed with them throughout the 90’s and was fortunate enough to work in a variety of different divisions and privileged to lead a variety of regional, national and international teams. Along the way I discovered the rewards of helping others achieve challenging things so I switched careers again and joined the Learning & Development industry. For the past 20 years I have been facilitating leadership development workshops for large multi-national clients across South East Asia. Having reached 60 I’m moving on again for the 3rd and final phase of life. This will see me fusing the previous 2 phases together and to design, develop and deliver experiential events that will help ‘kids of all ages’ transition through the various phases of their life so that they can not only be the best version of themselves as they can be but also create a lasting and inspiring legacy for them and their future generations. As a result, I’m as stimulated and excited about work as I was on my 1st day in 1978.
