Synopsis

We last had a conversation on Mentoring in Tech Space, and now AIM is bringing you Mentoring in the Social Sphere, in partnership with Enactus Singapore, Social Collider and YSI SEA to explore how mentoring can help social entrepreneurs and accelerate social enterprises to achieve their missions.

The Social Enterprise Space is one of next frontiers in mentoring - increasingly more and more enterprises need to be social - or have some form of social mission in place to benefit certain segments of the society. The days where a business exists solely for the benefit for its shareholders are coming to an end. Society is increasingly demanding this sea change.

In this gathering, we’ll explore mentoring in the social sphere with a talk and a panel comprising of social innovators, entrepreneurs, mentors and incubators - how is mentoring different in this space - and what do social entrepreneurs expect of their mentors.
